The Website and Photography Project

Our Project is a Website and Photography project about Craghead. The first part of the project was funded by Derwentside District Council and Northern Arts, this payed for the employment of a photographer and the purchase of OneShot Cameras.

In order to further develop the project we had to fill in an application form and send it to the Prince's Trust Millennium Awards.
We were then visited by the Princes Trust Area Co-ordinator who informed us that we had been allocated £15,000. In order to get the money we all had to fill in forms to commit to the project.

The idea of the website is to show the world Craghead - the people, the places and its history.

To enable us to do this project we had to get the right skills, so we had to find the right people to help us. We contacted Martin Herron a local photographer who had worked on the Craghead Snaps website project, to help us develop our photography skills.

To develop our computer skills we worked with Sharon Robinson from Derwentside District Council's SPICE Project.
The photgraphs that we took have formed this website.

This is Peter, Martin, Michelle and Sharon.

Our training started with I.T. Training at Derwentside Training and a working residential weekend in Otterburn.
